Willis was a staple at Willie Nelson’s historic picnics and we met at his SXSW Luck Reunion.. After hearing my music, we played some shows in South Louisiana. Now I’ve been tasked with booking our Montana run. His self-titled album is considered by many to be the best singer-songwriter recording of all-time. Northeast Texas Women is my favorite cut on the masterpiece. I’m a former Warner-Nashville recording artist, have been featured by Live Nation, and produced the Bobby Charles Solution to Pollution EP with Dr. John. I write songs for a variety of causes work with veteran songwriters, suicide prevention initatives and missing person advocacy groupsn in Indian Country. My band’s shared the stage with Johnny Winter, Coe, Haggard, The Angola Prison Band, Billy Joe Shaver, Yoakam and many others. Last year we performed at Under the Big Sky and New Orleans Jazzfest. This year we performed at SXSW. I have a new album this fall. Willis Alan is also going to get back in the studio after our Montana run.
